Somerset House Trust appoint Godfrey Partnership to undertake measured site survey of Grade 1 Listed West Wing building

In conjunction with our appointment as Cost Consultant and CDM Co-ordinator (see April 2011 news below), Somerset House Trust have appointed Godfrey Partnership to undertake a measured site survey of all six floors of the Grade 1 Listed West Wing including sections through the proposed new lift and staircase locations.

Herbert Smith request survey update on their Estate Data Base

Godfrey Partnership have been appointed to update all floor and furniture layout plans to London offices occupied by Herbert Smith.

Godfrey Partnership appointed as Cost Consultant and Planning Co-ordinator for refurbishment of Reception area at their London HQ, Exchange House

The project comprises the installation of:

  • formation of temporary reception
  • alterations to raised floor including marble tile floor finish
  • new feature suspended ceilings
  • specialist joinery including new reception desk and wall panels
  • new glazed screen to entrance lobby
  • amendment of electrical, mechanical and sprinkler installations to suit new layout including designer lighting and installation of new controls to relocated VAV units.

Somerset House Trust appoint Godfrey Partnership for refurbishment of office space to Grade 1 Listed West Wing

Godfrey Partnership has been appointed by Somerset House Trust as Cost Consultant and CDM Co-ordinator for the refurbishment of existing offices over five floors throughout the Grade 1 Listed West Wing.

The brief also includes the provision of Meeting Room facilities and the installation of a new glass lift and stone staircase with glass/steel balustrade within the existing structure.

Godfrey Partnership continue with measured site survey and topographical survey work in connection with Sainsbury's 2011/2012 store refurbishment programme

Following on from the successful completion of approximately 50 measured site and topographical surveys during 2010 in connection with the Sainsbury's store refurbishment/extension programme, Godfrey Partnership have been allocated a further 20 projects for the first half of 2011, with stores ranging in size from 25,000 – 85,000 square feet.

We are delighted to announce that our new Midlands office in Rugby is now open for business. The Rugby office will deal with all Computer Aided Design consultancy work, under the direction of Rob Hart.

Herbert Smith appoint Godfrey Partnership as Cost Consultant and CDM Co-ordinator in connection with fitting out of 8,000 square feet of office space from shell and core finish at Ormeau Gasworks, Belfast

The project comprises the installation of:

  • raised floors
  • new floor finishings
  • cellular office layout to the perimeter of the building comprising
    partitions with glazed fronts
  • specialist joinery to copy and kitchen areas
  • new roller blinds to perimeter windows
  • new access control system
  • new voice over IP installation
  • electrical and mechanical installations including Computer Room and
    AV installation to Meeting Rooms
  • fit out of Landlord's toilets and fire escape staircase.

Cheval Property Holdings Limited appoint Godfrey Partnership as Cost Consultant and CDM Co-ordinator for phased high quality refurbishment of 47 apartments spread over three separate buildings within the City of London.

The project comprises the installation of:

  • air conditioning for heating and cooling to bedrooms and lounges, including stripping out existing hot water / heating boilers and radiators. Provide central plant for heating and hot water re-using existing pipe work.
  • new boosted potable water supply with new main tank.
  • new transformer to provide upgraded power supply.
  • upgrade of existing air extract system to both kitchens and bathrooms.
  • upgrade the existing lighting and provide additional small power and data points.
  • undertake repairs / maintenance and limited upgrade to existing passenger lifts.
  • refurbishment of existing reception area.
  • upgrade of all apartments with refitted kitchens and new bathrooms, showers and WC's with new sanitaryware, including new wall and floor finishes.
  • specialist joinery including alteration of existing wardrobe doors to sliding style and strengthening partition walls to accommodate TV installations
  • new carpets and wall coverings throughout
  • alteration of existing ceilings to accommodate new air conditioning
  • replacement of existing ceilings within corridor areas with fully accessible metal ceilings including new lighting and redecoration of skirtings, doors and frames.
