We are delighted to announce that our Leamington Spa office opened earlier this month. The Leamington office will deal with Computer Aided Design consultancy work, under the direction of partner, Surinder Bilkhu.

Godfrey Partnership appointed for refurbishment of office complex in West Bromwich, West Midlands

Godfrey Partnership have been appointed as Cost Consultant and CDM Co-ordinator fo the refurbishment of a five-storey office block in West Bromwich. The project is to be executed with an occupied building and comprises:

• replacement double glazed windows to all elevations
• refurbishment of Ground Floor reception and all common parts including toilets
• replacement of existing air handling plant and chiller unit including all associated mechanical work
• refurbishment of 2 No lifts including installation of new control gear
• upgrade of incoming electrical supply and associated works

Somerset House Trust appoint Godfrey Partnership for refurbishment of office space to South Wing

Godfrey Partnership have been appointed by Somerset House Trust as Contract Administrator, Cost Consultant and CDM Co-ordinator for the refurbishment of cellular offices to the 3rd Floor of the South Wing. The brief also includes the project management and co-ordination of all individual trade packages during the pre-contact phase of the project.

Dollond & Aitchison expansion continues into 2008

Godfrey Partnership have been appointed by Dollond & Aitchison to survey 20 new sites and prepare proposed retail layouts including shop-front elevations and reflected ceiling plans. We continue to be involved in the survey and preparation of proposed layouts of existing retail outlets, including those scheduled for re-branding under the 'Premium' concept introduced last year.

Godfrey Partnership appointed by Mace for 2008/2009 Sainsbury's store refurbushment programme

Following on from their appointment by Mace last year for measured site surveys in connection with the Sainsbury’s store refurbishment programme, Godfrey Partnership have been allocated a further 14 projects for the second quarter of 2008, with stores ranging in size from 15,000 – 85,000 square feet.

Herbert Smith appoint Godfrey Partnership as QS and Planning Co-ordinator in connection with fitting out of Cat A floor space at 10 Exchange Square

Godfrey Partnership have been appointed by Herbert Smith as Cost Consultant and Planning Co-ordinator for the fit out of 15,000 square feet of office space from Cat A specification at 10 Exchange Square, London EC2.
The appointment follows on from the successful fit out of 58,000 square feet of office space from shell and core within the same building.
The project is to be executed with an occupied building and comprises:

• alterations to existing raised floors and suspended ceilings
• new floor finishings
• cellular office layout to the perimeter of the building comprising demountable partitions with glazed fronts and sliding doors and bi-panel system cross walls
• specialist joinery to copy and kitchen areas
• new roller blinds to perimeter windows
• new access control system
• new voice over IP installation
• amendment of electrical, mechanical and sprinkler installations to suit new layout including new lighting and installation of new controls to fan coil air conditioning installation

Godfrey Partnership appointed as QS and Planning Co-ordinator for phased refurbushment of Level 3 at Exchange House

Godfrey Partnership have been appointed by Herbert Smith as Cost Consultant and Planning Co-ordinator for the refurbishment of 35,000 square feet of office space at their London HQ, Exchange House, London EC2.
The project is to be executed over 4 phases within an occupied building and comprises:

• new floor finishings
• revised cellular office layout including the adaptation and refurbishment of existing glazed fronts
• the construction of new demountable partitions with glazed fronts and sliding doors
• adaptation of existing suspended ceilings
• specialist joinery to lift entrance/exit areas and new copy and vend areas
• replacement of window blinds
• new access control system
• new voice over IP installation
• amendment of electrical, mechanical and sprinkler installations to suit new layout including new lighting and installation of new controls to VAV air conditioning installation
